I enjoyed reading the comments at the bottom of the 2nd link. I was annoyed by the last sentence of the same page spelling "cited" wrong (sited).
I like what I've seen of Greater Lexington Park and all of St. Mary's County. Almost a rural setting for living and a defined and complete commercial district. And not far from large cities if that's what one needs on occasion. The only downside I saw was the high cost of living (re: housing and taxes). Groceries and utilities are about the same so far as I could tell.
