So I've been trying to watch Medium tonight, but it's taking everything I've got to get through it. Not because the story is bad, but they keep playing some damn song over and over and over and over in it! What the hell is up with that? Really annoying. The song really sucks too. I remember one other time they did it (it was some horrible dixie chicks song then) on an episode a couple of years ago. They only play about one 30 second segment of a song and play it about 25 times over the course of the hour long show.
just annoys the living crap out of me....

I didn't see the show, but it's probably their way of promoting the Dixie Bitches, who think they have validation now that the bunch of idiots who choose the Grammys awarded them the so-called top three awards of the whole lot. Of course, most of rural America thinks the DBs should just go to hell, or at best, shut up and sing (and leave the political commentary out of it). Of course, the DBs claim they are not a country group any more but they did get the "country album of the year" award, so maybe they should give it back ... they should just get out of "entertaining" and get into politics. Then they might have the authority to comment on the same.
You could lodge a protest with NBC et al, not that it would do any good. Or boycott the show.
